Scanners...

I suppose they knew ahead of time that I was going to blog about this.

Shared Items

Google Reader rocks.  Not only is it a simple and wonderful feed reader, but I just realized that I can share out items and put them directly on this blog.

I added it over on the right side under "Links".  Now, you can read what I read.

WE'RE SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF OUR LUNGS!!!

I used to love that commercial.  It's even better today with the monkey guy and the 4 necked guitar played by the three armed guitarist.

Stuff I'm Reading Update 4/13/08

An update on my blogroll:

Ace of Spades HQ - Not sure why I hadn't heard of this blog until just recently.  Seems like something that would be completely up my alley.  There's conservatism, humor, and pirates.  What else is there really?

The LoHud Yankees Blog - Written by Yankees beat writer Peter Abraham, it's like the upscale version of NoMaas.org, except without pictures.  You know, I would love to live blog a Yankees game one day, but I think the profanity might end up being too much for this blog.

Speaking of which, Rangers vs. Devils - Game 3 tonight!  Go Rangers!

Quick Thoughts 4/13/08

Michael Clayton - Decent movie.  Not what I was expecting.  Less John Grisham, more Winston Wolf.

Pizzeria Uno - Haven't been in about 12 years.  I was pleasantly surprised.  I think it wasn't the deep dish I originally didn't like so much as it was the chunky tomato sauce.  Now that I'm older, it was pretty good.  My insides don't like me this morning though.

New Dream Theater Greatest Hit - Decent compilation with a remix of "Pull me Under" and "Take the Time".  Not sure I agree with the remix, but it did take me back to the good old days, so...  mission accomplished I guess.

2008 New York Yankees - So far, so good, I guess.  Starting pitching is surprising.  It will still depend on how the kids pan out.  Joba looks great.  Hughes has been okay, and Kennedy...  well, we'll just wait a little on him.  Wang has been phenomenal and Mussina is doing everything you would expect for someone his age and with his fastball and maybe a little more.  If the bats can step it up, this will be one heck of a team.

Nintendo Wii - Well, I suppose this is one of the major reasons I haven't been writing (I hope any of you who are reading have RSS feed readers).  Simply an amazing device.  Wii Sports is fun as all hell.  2K8 baseball is surprisingly realistic.  Zelda is tremendous.  And finally, if you don't think Rachel playing Dance Dance Revolution is one of the funnniest things you've ever seen in your life, well, you'd be dead wrong.
